S.3 E.8 - How to Have Tough Conversations

Let me guess - having tough conversations (or dealing with conflict) is probably NOT on your list of faves. Well, surprise alert - we ALL have to deal with having such tough conversations at some point in our life. The scary part there might be just not knowing what having those conversations looks like.

Well, today on Holly's Highlights podcast we are going to unpack five tips to use when having to have those tough conversations. We'll even take a look at what our options are for decision making within those conversations, and action items that we may want to consider when coming to an end of those tough conversations.

Of course at the end of the day "you can't fix stupid", so we'll even address some other outlying factors that may impact the outcome of such conversations.

Bottom line, we'll come to learn, as well-known speaker Peter Bromberg says, "When we avoid difficult conversations, we trade short-term discomfort for long-term dysfunction," and therfore hopefully be brave enough to start a conversation that matters...no matter how tough that conversation may feel.
